Flagship Food Group Names Dr. Jim Halloran Global Director of Quality Assurance and Research & Development​

Los Angeles, CA, February 25, 2014 – Flagship Food Group has promoted Dr. Jim Halloran to Global Director of Quality Assurance and R&D. Halloran had previously served as Director of R&D for Filet of Chicken, a division of Flagship. During his eleven years at Filet of Chicken he led the SQF III certification process of its state-of-the-art Atlanta USDA poultry facility. “As we launched the process of identifying someone to lead R&D and Q&A for Flagship on a firm-wide basis, we were thrilled to find the perfect candidate was already part of our Flagship family. Dr. Halloran will be responsible for spearheading Flagship’s efforts to streamline its QA and R&D into compatible and cross-functional operations, while focusing on the highest level of food safety. In this newly-created position, Dr. Halloran will be instrumental in developing a team environment across each division that encourages collaboration of ideas and practices to enable each unit to reach the highest level of best practices as well as the creation of innovative products for consumers worldwide.
